Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete data associated with GrowVPD Pro, the indoor-growing climate app published by VPD Labs LLC.

Where your data is stored

GrowVPD Pro is offline-first. By default, the data you create — grow diary entries, photos, sensor history, equipment profiles, and app settings — is stored only on your device.

Some data is processed off your device only if you turn on optional features:

• Cloud monitoring — environmental snapshots (temperature, humidity, VPD), grow/room/tent names, automation and watering status, and a device identifier are sent to our monitoring service so it can send you alerts.
• Smart-device cloud monitoring — if you connect a smart-device account (e.g. Smart Life, AC Infinity, Vivosun) for monitoring, the sign-in details you provide are sent to our service so it can poll that platform on your behalf.
• Multi-device sync — your data is relayed between your own devices. It is end-to-end encrypted; our relay cannot read it.
• Crash diagnostics — crash reports and basic device/app information are sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google). This can be turned off in the app's settings.
• Push notifications — a push token is registered with Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) so alerts can be delivered to your device.

Delete data stored on your device

You can remove your local data at any time, yourself:

• Delete individual grows, diary entries, or photos inside the app.
• Clear the app's data in your device's Settings → Apps → GrowVPD Pro → Storage.
• Uninstall the app — this permanently deletes all local data.

Request deletion of data on our servers

If you used cloud monitoring or multi-device sync, email us and we will delete the data associated with your app installation:

• Email: privacy@growvpd.pro (or support@growvpd.pro)
• Subject: "Data deletion request"
• Let us know you use GrowVPD Pro. There is no GrowVPD Pro account, so no login details are needed.

We complete deletion requests within 30 days. Turning off cloud monitoring in the app also stops any further data from being sent.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• On-device data — deleted by you, immediately, using the steps above.
• Cloud monitoring data — deleted within 30 days of your request. Smart-device sign-in details and access tokens are deleted when you disconnect the platform or on request.
• Multi-device sync data — relayed only transiently between your devices and end-to-end encrypted; it is not stored in readable form and is cleared when you stop syncing.
• Crash diagnostics — automatically deleted by Firebase Crashlytics after 90 days; earlier removal can be requested on your behalf.
